If some of your accounts seem to be missing from your report, this could be for different reasons:
- This particular credit provider doesn't share their information with Experian (some don’t).
- Your bank account may not show unless you have a pre-authorised overdraft facility.
- Your account is new and hasn’t been added to your report yet. If an account has been recently opened, it may take up to 6 weeks for it to show on your credit report while Experian waits for an update from the lender. Keep checking your report regularly for any updates.
- They appear under a different company name.
If you suspect something is missing from your report, you'll need to contact the creditors involved to see if they report to Experian (our data provider).
If the providers you've contacted have confirmed that they're sharing your information with Experian, you'll need to contact Experian directly to dispute this and you can do so here.
