What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
2FA is a verification method that requires more than one credential to be entered, in order to verify a user’s identity.
For example, you log into your account and a message containing a verification code is sent to your trusted device (e.g. mobile phone), which you then enter giving you access to your account.
Why do we use 2FA?
It makes it difficult for someone else to login into your account, as it adds another lay of security and decreases the risk of an account takeover.
Do I have to use 2FA?
Two-Factor-Authentication (2FA) is not compulsory, however, we would advise our users to enable this to protect their financial data.
