Personal statements

In certain circumstances you can ask the credit bureau to add a short factual statement to your credit report to explain a personal situation. This will then be visible to any organisation or provider that is allowed to access your credit report. 
 

To add or remove a personal statement to your credit reports you can contact the credit bureaus directly: 

Experian, Equifax and illion.

 

If you’ve been a victim of fraud or concerned, you can consider requesting for a ban to be placed on your credit report.
