If ClearScore says it can’t find your credit report, we haven’t been able to match you to a credit report with illion, our credit reporting partner, yet.
This can happen when there isn’t enough credit history available, or when your personal details don’t match the information held about you. It’s different from having a low credit score.
What should I check?
Select Review under Review your details and check your name, date of birth and address information.
Make sure the details are accurate and consistent with those on your financial accounts. Once your details have been verified, you can’t edit them in the app. To correct them, you’ll need to delete your ClearScore account and sign up again using the correct information. If you need help with this, contact us through the Help Centre.
Will ClearScore keep looking?
We’ll continue checking for your credit file and let you know when we find it. There’s no guaranteed date for a match, as it depends on the information available from our credit reporting partner, illion.
When your file is found, follow the instructions in your account to access your score and report.
What can I do while I’m waiting?
You can use the features available in your account, including fraud-protection tools and information about your Credit Health.
Your home-screen checklist also explains how credit works in Australia, the options you can explore and things to consider before applying for credit. These are suggestions to help you understand your options, not a guarantee that completing them will produce a score.
What if I already have a credit report?
Contact us through the Help Centre and tell us which credit reporting agency holds your report. We can help investigate why it hasn’t been matched to your ClearScore account.
